Exhibitions

I was privileged to have a stand at the first two of the Wizardry in Wood. exhibitions mounted by the Worshipful Company of Turners of London.

As well as stands for some two dozen individuals there were several collections of work, the prize-winners for that year's competitions and displays of work by members of the main turning organisations in Britain. In the 2012 exhibition Eleanor Lakelin, who had been on one of my courses, had some of her work displayed as she was a winner of a bursary from the Worshipful Company of Turners in 2011. She was selected as an exhibitor in the 2016 Wizardry in Wood exhibition. Patricia Spero who is a Rigistered Professional Turner and committee member of the Register also took a course with me.

I regularly show with the Sussex Guild, with whom I am a member.

Woodturning Design

In Derek Hayes' book "Woodturning Design" published May 2011 two of my pieces are used for discussion. They are the bowl based on the golden section that is in the bowl section of the gallery and the 12" coloured sycamore sphere that is on the sculptural pieces section of the gallery.
